Last week, a major milestone was achieved in the modernisation of the Valhall field: the new bridge that will connect the PWP platform to the Valhall field centre departed from Nymo’s yard in Eydehavn, Arendal.
The structure spans over 100 metres and weighs around 1,000 tonnes. Built to exacting standards, the bridge stands as a testament to Nymo’s technical capabilities and commitment to delivering world-class offshore structures. The delivery is part of Aker BP’s PWP-Fenris development, one of several large-scale projects shaping the future of the Norwegian continental shelf.
At Nymo, we’re proud to contribute with value creation, employment, and competence-building. This delivery reflects the strength of close cooperation between Aker BP, alliance partners, and Norwegian industry—and highlights the crucial role of skilled workers and engineers in bringing such projects to life.
